Here we are and it's November already! I hope you can look back on the year and say it has been a good one. If not, well, you still have some time to fix things, so go for it!
For my part, 2019 has been a double-edged sword.
On the one hand, I couldn't be happier with the way Ben Archer is doing. The Series has taken on a life of its own and has been in the Amazon top 100 in Teen Science-Fiction and other related categories for weeks. Right now, the ebook is free for the first weekend of November and it is currently in the top 4000 in the overall Amazon store (whew! Give me a minute while I wrap my head around that).
I also got a nice, shiny seal as a finalist of the Author Academy Awards, which I've enjoyed pasting on the book cover. You can give yourself a nice tap on the back for this, 'cause this also belongs to those of you who took the time to vote! You can check it out HERE.

On the other hand, things have been quite tough for the family as my father-in-law passed away last week from cancer, and, at the same time, my husband is having surgery to remove a tumour in a few days. The reason I'm telling you this (and I'll repeat it) is to please take care of yourselves and your direct relatives by getting regular check-ups, especially if cancer runs in the family. Do yourself a favour: don't wait to call the doctor!
Working on Ben Archer has been a blessing, as it keeps my mind occupied while we are waiting for doctors or dealing with insomnia. I can vent my emotions into the stories (sorry, Ben!). It is to the point where I have practically finished writing Ben Archer and the Star Rider, Book 5 !
Finishing the first draft of TAS4 and TAS5 is a far cry from the final version, however, so don't get your hopes up on a 2019 release. I'm aiming for April 2020, but you'll get at least two books for your patience.
What's up in the neighbourhood
When you have children, you can't really roll up in a ball and hide under the bed-covers. You get up and you go and do the fun stuff they expect you to do with them. So we went to the local pumpkin patch and celebrated Halloween.
