So much to do and so little time!
Dear friends,
Can you believe it's February already? What have you been up to so far?

- Beta readers have been super busy and have returned valuable feedback on Ben Archer and the World Beyond. I'm incredibly fortunate to have such thoughtful readers! Thank you!
What beta readers have said:
- "I was spellbound through the entire novel, and I believe it’s your best in series to date."
- "Loved the ending, it was so amazing and powerful."
- "As I said before WOW!"
Well, that's promising! :)
- ARC readers: I'll be talking about getting free copies of the book by becoming an ARC reader in my March newsletter.
- Going wide: For those who follow me on social media, I've announced that I'm working on making The Alien Skill Series available everywhere. What does that mean? Well, for the moment, the series is only available on Amazon. You will have a hard time ordering the book from your local bookstore, because they don't want anything to do with Amazon, which is their deadly enemy.
So, to make the books available to all retailers, libraries, schools etc., I will be using a different platform called IngramSpark, which prints books on a global scale and is accessible to hundreds of thousands of brick-and-mortar stores. This means that, potentially, The Alien Skill Series could be stocked in your local bookstore by Christmas.
Sounds exciting, right?
But don't worry, the books will still be available on Amazon as usual. You won't notice any difference.
What's up in the neighbourhood?
In spite of weeks of rain, we had a three-day snow break, which meant we got to do some sledding and snowman-building.

Geneva Sommers, a young orphan girl on a quest to know who she is, has always wished for a different life. Since the great flood and the untimely death of her parents, she’s lived a captive life at the orphanage, barely surviving the dangerous predators that patrol the prison-like walls of the Troian Center.
One day, Nova, a brave orphan boy claiming to know the truth, speaks up. He tells her an impossible legend and that she’s the key to unlocking it. Not only does he believe she’s the daughter of a long-lost goddess, but he thinks she holds the magic necessary to save their island.

Will she master her magic in time or will her quest for the truth be her fatal flaw?
Twins of Orion: The Book of Keys by J. Rose
“A complex, tightly plotted series opener that should enchant audiences.” – Kirkus Reviews
Abandoned as infants, twins Peter and Rory have never known a real family. While Peter wants nothing more than to escape his abusive adoptive father, Rory struggles to not get kicked out of her twelfth foster home since she was separated from Peter seven years ago. All that changes when magical birds appear offering to help them reunite . . . and return them to the home they never knew.
But fate is cruel. They arrive on the planet Inara, on opposing sides of a brutal war. It is up to them to uncover the real enemy if they ever want to see each other again. Unsure of who to trust in a strange world of magic, hidden cities, and dragons, the twins must now face their childhood fears to stop an immortal being from escaping and continuing his dark mission.
All the best,
